We take as much care over the ambiance of Izumi as we do over the food.

The interior and exterior is the result of years of work and improvement, some of which is still on-going.

In early 2015, we commissioned national award winning artist Ashraful Hassan, to work on the exterior and courtyard. You will notice some very detailed and delicate concrete work all over the exterior. All of that has been done by one individual, by hand, over months.

You will occasionally find Ashraf bhai wearing his apron, having a bowl of Udon and working on his canvas... the whole building.
